    1. I love that shot even though I don’t have a macro lens. I made a nice 12×12 print of it. I recently purchased a wonderful printer – Epson Artisan 1430 (13″ Wide) Printer. I’ve made some nice 13×19 inch prints which I very pleased with. Nice to give as gifts etc. – now I’m looking into framing/matting options.

        1. It is an ink printer – 6 separate ink cartridges. The paper is Epson Ultra Premium Matt Photo Paper. Epson a good variety of high quality printer papers with various finishes from Glossy to Matt. Some also have archival properties. The price is pretty good too – I purchased a pack of 50 (13×19 Ultra Premium Matt) for about $60 Canadian. Each ink cartridge costs $38 supposed to last 4x longer than a lab print – but hard to say what the cost per print would be.

          1. I also have a monochrome laser printer for non-photographic materail. I’m just taking my time testing out the printer and what sort of size/framing/matting/subject to use and how or even if I should sell them. But what’s nice is being able to print 4×6’s to give away or put in an actual album. My wife regularly updates photos of the family – she has a frame consisting of 4 small prints for each of our 5 adult children (and 3 grandchildren) I recently gave some 5×7 prints to these trombone musicians in our school band … https://michaelhoffmannphotography.com/2017/06/21/trombone-quartet/
