Beautiful! I would guess it’s one of the species of purple coneflower (Echinacea) but have no idea which one.

I think they’re called spiky daisies – because they look very spiky! 🙂

    Hey I just checked ‘Spiky’ in Latin and came up with a page that gives ‘Spiky’ in 80 different languages!! Should I go on … 🙂

      Cool!! We actually had a dog named “Spike” we called him “Spikey-boy” – He was a Corgi-Terrier who chased squirells and died at age 16.
