Thankyou Jane! The lighting made a wonderful backdrop. Now I’m looking forward to capturing some images during nesting season – although areas of the reserve is closed to public from Mid-March – June , but there are some blinds that folks can peak at the action.

Good subjects for an awesome set of silhouettes Michael! We have some nests like that here in an open area along the river and the herons return every year.

We have one son who will be 36 next week … and a 13 year old Welsh Terrier.

Wish him Happy Birthday from me! Our oldest daughter will be turning 36 mid April and I’ll be turning 65 then! We have a 10 yr old Husky-Shepherd named Bear. Thanks for sharing a little bit.
