Here are a couple distinguished mountains surrounding Vancouver, British Columbia. Both shots were taken from Blackie Spit at Crescent Beach.

“The Lions” and “Cypress Mountain”

“The Golden Ears” – Maple Ridge – not so Golden during midday. was lucky to simultaneously include the seagull, the person and the passing train.
Wonderful shots of this impressive skyline.

Thanks Belinda – I wish they were a bit sharper, but the atmosphere wasn’t super clear that day and I also had to crop them.

Thanks Brian – Sometimes its easy to take the surroundings for granted. When I was much younger, I hiked, scrambles up both of those “Lions” peaks.
