I prefer the sketch. There are so many details in this image, between the tracks, the foliage and the rocks between the tracks. The first two images accentuated all the textures in a way that was harder for me to actually see them. I found the sketch easier to see, to wander through visually. I also like how in this version the person walking becomes more distinct and relevant to the image as a whole.
Thankyou for your insight on these images Arati! With the sketch filter, I purposely kept the guy and the middle track unfiltered to provide a visual contrast with the surrounding as a metaphor for keeping focused – ie, on track.
