I recently spotted these graffic beasties from the highway, so I looped back, got out my cell phone and was greeted by the baffled owner who was wondering why I was taking photos. When I explained that my hobby was photography and I pointed to the cool silhouettes, he seemed satisfied. I may make a print to give him.

Thanks Pete! Your nature shots remind me of when I bought my first camera (Praktica) 42 years ago … I was going nuts taking closeups of flowers with Kodachrome, then projecting them on a 6 ft screen – beautiful!

I had a Practica back in the 1980s, and it was a great camera. I wasn’t into close-ups back then though, but have been making up for it since 🙂
