I came upon this lone Stilted Sandpiper recently. This is the first time I have photographed one. I liked and posted all the images because each one is unique, contrasting and combining this lively leggy bird with its surrounding environment.

Terrific shots, Michael. IM-4 is framed well and IM-1 shows the habitat well.

Thanks Jane. Those 2 are my favourites for the same reasons. However, I wish I had been able to get closer b/c I had to crop them a lot even though I had my 28-280 zoom. I love my Lumix G85 mirrorless camera – except for the limitation of 16 MPS which is fine if I don’t need to crop. But I am saving up for your Fuji XT-2 with 24 MPS b/c I’d like to start make some decent enlargements.
