Galiano Sandstone Sculptures

Some images from our recent stay on Galiano Island – one of the beautiful Gulf Islands between Vancouver and Vancouver Island.

        1. Totally agree! In fact, just the other day, we came across some newly sprouted Crocuses with all these bees dipping in and out. I took my cell, got as close as possible and pretty happy with some of the images – one of them with 2 bees on the same flower. Good for a future post!
But cell phones are bad for zoom and lean toward wide angle which is cool for scenic shots, but not for people closeups etc.

    1. Thanks so much Andrew! I love art, but cannot draw or paint and don’t have the patience – but I have a sense of composition – so I enjoy bringing that to my images. Editing software allows me so much creative latitude. Btw – Give me a “heads up” if you and wife ever plan to visit Vancouver – meet for coffee!
