Out-Numbered but Still Standing Tall
“Guess who’s coming to dinner?”
I really enjoyed capturing and editing these images last Thursday in Chilliwack, British Columbia.
I love this candid shot of the 2 extremely different photographers! I took my shots just past where these folks were. I used a 300mm lens and then cropping 10% of original image. This fine eagle on the spent some time trying to remove a large dead salmon trapped in the rocks, without success. Vedder River, Chilliwack, BC is famous for Salmon fishing enthusiasts.
“Lookin’ right at You!”
“You want my profile?”
“Yes, I have serious claws, bro!”
“Come on … shake a paw!”
I met this fine eagle late December while walking along the Vedder River in Chilliwack, British Columbia. My zoom wasn’t too great, so had to crop this quite a bit. But I am quite happy with the images including the pine tree backdrop and the orange colour of beak and branch.
Got these shots on New Years day while we were meandering along the Vedder River in Chilliwack, British Columbia.
